About Me
I believe excellent care starts with meeting people where they are and helping them move toward where they want to be.
I grew up in the country as the oldest of eleven kids in a deeply religious community. I learned grit, how to work hard with my hands, how to care for my community, and a few other things too. Growing up meant figuring out for myself what I wanted to carry forward and what I was ready to question. I learned that you can appreciate where you came from while still growing into someone new. I've held onto what matters most: empathy, service, community, kindness, and treating people with dignity. That journey shapes the way I care for people today.
Massage gave me a way to combine working with my hands with helping people feel better in their bodies. Teaching took that further. I don't just want to provide temporary relief. I want to help people understand their bodies, learn what works for them, and have tools they can carry into everyday life.
That's what Middlebrook Wellness is built around: skilled care, practical education, genuine connection, and room to grow.
Come As You Are
I'm proudly LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent-friendly. I've worked hard to create a space where people don't have to wonder whether they're welcome or celebrated.
You don't have to share my identity, background, beliefs, or way of life to belong here.
Just be you, and be kind.
You also don't need to know massage terminology or have the perfect words to explain what you're feeling. We'll figure that part out together.
Come as you are. We'll start there
Your Body, Your Say
You know what it's like to live in your body.
I know massage.
The best work happens when we bring those two things together.
I'll bring my training, experience, what I'm noticing.
You bring what you're feeling, what you need, what you don't.
Ask questions.
Tell me when something feels great. Tell me when it doesn't. Change your mind.
Consent isn't something we only handle once on an intake form. It's an ongoing conversation.
Your Body, Your Say. Always.

Skilled Care, Without the Ego
I'm a licensed massage therapist and massage therapy instructor; I take my craft quite seriously.
Although I am constantly learning and nerding out on research,
that doesn't mean pretending I know everything.
Massage can do some pretty great things. It can't do everything. I'll be honest about what I can help with, what I don't know, and when someone else might be better equipped to help.
I'd rather earn your trust than sell you a miracle.
Even if a few people have been
calling me “Massage Jesus” for years.
Nothing I do needs to be a mystery. Massage is my whole world. I genuinely like helping people understand this stuff.
Ask what I'm noticing,
why I'm working somewhere,
or what you can do at home.
If something I say makes absolutely no sense,
ask me to explain it differently.
Rooted and Still Growing
I know firsthand that where you are isn't necessarily where you're going, or want to continue moving towards. That's something I bring into my work.
Maybe you're looking for less pain, better movement, a better understanding of your body, or ways to care for someone you love. You don't need to have it all figured out before you walk through my door.
We'll start with where you are and work from there.
Keep what serves you.
Question what doesn't.
Learn as you go.
Don't be afraid to grow into something different.
That's the philosophy behind Middlebrook Wellness.
"“The curious paradox is that
when I accept myself just as I am,
then I can change.”
- Carl Rogers
